Fibrogastroscopy with Sedation

What does it consist of?

The test is performed in an outpatient operating room and takes approximately 30 minutes. A mouthpiece is placed to protect the denture and, once placed in a comfortable position, the doctor inserts the endoscope, a long and flexible tube equipped with a light and a small camera at one end, through the throat until it reaches the upper part of the digestive tract under anesthesia and sedation. so it is a completely painless test.
