Arthro MRI
What does it consist of?
In the first place, the injection of contrast guided by RX and/or ultrasound is carried out. Intra-articular contrast causes the joint capsule to distend, allowing highly detailed images of the damaged joint structure to be obtained. Subsequently, the Magnetic Resonance test is performed for image acquisition, so you will have to lie face up with your head resting on a cushion, and then the stretcher will move until the area of the body to be studied is in the center of the resonance equipment.

CASES IN WHICH IT IS RECOMMENDED
Who is it for?
Artro MRI is mainly indicated in the following cases:
- Meniscus and cartilage injuries
- Tendon injuries
- Articular cartilage disorders
- Tears and strains of the joint capsule
- Detection of free intra-articular osteochondral bodies
