Instructions

  • Comfortable clothes: Come with loose clothes that are easy to remove.
  • Contrast administration: In the most complex X-rays, that is, those in which contrast material must be administered, the doctor will explain to you how you should prepare for it.
  • Pregnancy: You must inform your doctor or X-ray technician if you are or may be pregnant.
  • Prior diagnostic tests: You should inform your doctor if you have recently undergone a barium examination, CT scan, or an isotopic study with contrast. In this case, you must wait between 10 and 14 days before taking the test.
